"Many sustainable projects fail twice — once as an investment, once as a climate commitment."
Dunecrest works at the intersection of both — we help you build what lasts on both counts.
How do you make infrastructure that survives both tests?

OUR PURPOSE
The money exists. The ambition exists. What's missing is the bridge between them.
The money exists. The ambition exists. What's missing is the bridge between them.
Infrastructure projects designed to deliver environmental outcomes — renewable energy, water systems, green urban development — are falling short. Not because the ambition is wrong, but because the asset does not hold. Projects become financially unviable. The sustainability purpose is never realised.
The problem runs in both directions. A solar farm where the grid cannot accept its power goes bankrupt before it delivers impact. A coastal defence with no revenue model becomes a liability. Both fail — for different reasons. That is the gap Dunecrest works in.
WHY PROJECTS FAIL
Sustainability projects rarely fail for lack of ambition
Sustainability projects rarely fail for lack of ambition
They fail because the asset doesn't hold, or the impact never lands. Usually both are avoidable — if the risks are named early.
The solar farm the grid can't take
Generation capacity built ahead of grid capacity — the plant is stranded before it ever delivers a kilowatt of impact.
The plant built for demand that never came
A desalination or treatment facility sized to a market forecast that didn't materialise — right technology, wrong uptake.
The defence with no way to pay for itself
A coastal or flood-resilience asset with real climate value but no revenue model — it becomes a liability on the balance sheet.
WHERE PROJECTS BREAKDOWN
Wrong location
Low market uptake
Weak revenue model
Unsuitable infrastructure
Outdated technology

HOW WE WORK
A structured process from diagnosis to sustained impact
Every engagement follows the same rigorous structure — ensuring we understand the context fully before we design anything, and that what we deliver outlasts our involvement.
01
Diagnose
Understand the institutional context, identify gaps in asset viability and sustainability performance, and define the scope of the engagement.
02
Design
Develop strategies, financing structures, and governance frameworks tailored to the project context, client needs, and climate objectives.
03
Deploy
Deliver implementation support, programme management, and capacity building — bridging strategy with ground-level execution.
04
Sustain
Embed impact measurement, governance systems, and knowledge transfer so results outlast the engagement.
