Developing the strategy of an environmental foundation
Summary
We developed the strategy for a foundation based in Saudi Arabia established under a ministry and focusing on preserving and developing vegetation cover, reducing land degradation, preserving biodiversity, and minimizing the effects of climate change.
Story
We engaged key stakeholders in Saudi Arabia such as non-profit organizations, government agencies, multilateral organizations, corporations, and foundations as well as international organizations based in countries such as Denmark, Netherlands, Malaysia, and India to understand the current state of the environmental sector in Saudi Arabia, and the opportunities to create massing impact in line with the Saudi Green Initiative (SGI) and Vision 2030 objectives.
We then developed the foundation’s strategy in collaboration with its management team, as well as the implementation plan to reach the full strategy deployment.
Conclusion
The foundation is successfully established and gradually rolling-out its strategy to strengthen the environmental ecosystem in Saudi Arabia.
