Ayman Shafik
Ayman leads Dunecrest's People & Teams practice. He brings over 17 years of experience in human resources management, organisational development, performance management, and organisational coaching. His work spans both the private and non-profit sectors across a wide range of industries, including manufacturing, fast-moving consumer goods, information and communication technology, electronics, and textiles.
Throughout his career, Ayman has delivered human resources consulting, training, and performance coaching to major international organisations, including Toyota, Hyundai, SC Johnson, Vodafone, GlaxoSmithKline, Novartis, AstraZeneca, Savola, Orascom, and Saudi Airlines, among others. He has assessed, developed, and implemented comprehensive human resources systems, set organisational roadmaps, conducted executive search, and assessed leaders across Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Algeria, Libya, and Jordan.
Prior to his consulting work, Ayman was nominated by the Saudi Ministry of Human Resources to manage the national human resources portal and lead the human resources development consulting team at Al Madina Institute for Leadership and Entrepreneurship (MILE) in Saudi Arabia. In this capacity, he developed Saudi HR leaders and introduced them to the workforce across business, governmental, and non-profit sectors, before transitioning to lead a professional consulting team serving non-governmental organisations, foundations, and social enterprises.
Earlier in his career, Ayman served as Human Resources Manager at Asfour Crystal International, the world's largest crystal manufacturer with 25,000 employees, where he led a team of human resources professionals and served as a member of the senior management, crisis management, and steering committees. Before that, he was Human Capital Management Director at Sahm Group Inc. for seven years, overseeing human resources activities for teams specialised in business outsourcing, automation, e-learning, and multimedia solutions across the United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, and Algeria.
Ayman holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from ESLSCA Business School in Paris. He is a Gallup Certified Strengths Coach, a Certified Professional Behavioural Analyst (CPBA) through TTI Success Insights, a Certified Return on Investment (ROI) Assessor through ABDI UK, and a Certified Human Resources Manager from Columbia Southern University in the United States.
