Robert Hadchiti
Robert serves as a Senior Consultant at Dunecrest and brings a solid consulting experience to the team. Prior to Dunecrest, Robert was a senior consultant at Roland Berger in Dubai, where he served as Acting Manager. Over the past six years, he has built a substantial public sector portfolio across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region, advising national ministries, sovereign investors, sector regulators and major state-backed operators on strategy, governance and operating model design. His engagements span the United Arab Emirates, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Lebanon.
His work sits at the intersection of public transport, logistics, ports, sustainability and institutional reform. He has designed a financial sustainability and service accessibility strategy for a national rail and metro operator, identifying commercial and operational initiatives to enhance public service delivery and long-term funding resilience. He has led the design of an end-to-end growth and operations transformationprogram for a major public bus operator, translating strategic initiatives into phased implementation roadmaps and coordinated delivery streams. He has redesigned the governance and operating model of a national transport sector authority, improving inter-agency coordination and establishing centralized performance oversight. He has assessed localization and strategic investment opportunities across transport and logistics for a sovereign investment fund, supporting national economic diversification priorities and has evaluated regional expansion opportunities for a logistics operator across the United Arab Emirates, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Egypt.
On the sustainability and energy transition front, Robert has supported the Ministry of Transport and Logistics Services in KSA in aligning electric vehicle (EV) adoption initiatives, translating national sustainability policy into execution-ready programmes across government entities and has developed the regional expansion strategy of a major sustainability and waste management operator in Abu Dhabi, identifying greenfield and brownfield opportunities in target markets. He has assessed governance restructuring options for a major port authority in Lebanon, supported the operational launch of a new PIF-company backed by more than eighty million United States dollars, including the establishment of governance, reporting structures and stakeholder coordination mechanisms and supported a major sovereign wealth fund in identifying advanced technology opportunities across more than fifteen sectors in the GCC region.
He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the American University of Beirut (AUB) and completed an exchange abroad at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Prior to consulting, he was a Technical Research Assistant at the Institute of Textile Technology of RWTH Aachen University in Germany, where he co-authored a published research paper on the design revamp of mass-manufactured products to optimize production and recycling costs, presented at the 17th Global Conference on Sustainable Manufacturing, and supported the development of a flexible textile-based pressure chamber for fibre composite production, redesigning the structure to reduce the required actuating force by twenty-six percent. He works fluently in English, French and Arabic, with intermediate proficiency in German.
