Mira Machmouchi

Mira serves as an Associate Consultant with Dunecrest. Prior to Dunecrest, she has contributed as a Researcher at the Center for Women in Business at AUB’s Olayan School of Business, advancing women’s leadership and empowerment across the Arab MENA region. Her work spans advocacy, research, and conference and workshop coordination to promote gender equality and inclusive policies. Previously, Mira was part of the Climate Change and Environment Program at the Issam Fares Institute for Public Policy and International Affairs (AUB), leading policy evaluations and citizen engagement studies under EU-funded projects on sustainability, climate resilience, and job creation.

She also worked with local Lebanese NGOs, the Restart Center and Amel Association, gaining experience in project coordination, humanitarian response, and social inclusion. As an active Rotaract leader, Mira has served as President of the Rotaract Club de Beyrouth and District Executive for Rotaract District 2452, driving community initiatives across nine countries.

Mira holds a Master’s in Public Policy and International Affairs and a Bachelor’s in Economics with a Minor in International Law, both from the American University of Beirut (AUB).
