Frederic Schmidt

Frederic serves as Dunecrest’s CEO, strong of 15 years of experience in strategy consulting, leadership development, and organizational transformation. Frederic is dedicated to driving impactful change across sectors and geographies.  

Prior to Dunecrest, Frederic was Principal Consultant with Energe Networks where he led consulting projects dealing with public policies in Saudi Arabia in the social and environmental sectors for clients such as as the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (HRSD), Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture (MEWA), General Authority for Awqaf (GAA), and Association Support Fund (ASF) . Before, Frederic was Consulting Manager at Eden Strategy Institute in Singapore where he led a team of consultants to solve social innovation challenges with clients such as the International organisation of Southeast Asian countries (ASEAN), Economic Development Board of Singapore, Singapore Centre for Social Enterprise (raiSE), Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF), Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS), Enterprise Singapore, DesignSingapore Council, UNDP Global Centre for Public Service Excellence (GCPSE), Development Bank of Singapore (DBS), Sumitomo Corporation, Samsung, Habasit, Bosch-Siemens Home Appliences (BSH), The Singapore Institute of Planners (SIP). His consulting work brought him to work on ground in Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Philipinnes, Malaysia, and Saudi Arabia. 

Prior to consulting, Frederic worked with the World Toilet Organization (WTO), a sanitation and water related NGO, as well as pre-investment analyst at Devenco, a private equity fund based in Cambodia focusing on economic and social development. 

Frederic is also a certified executive coach, certified by the International Coaching Federation (ICF). He has completed professional formation such as with the Co-Active Training Institute (CTI), Organization and Relationship Systems Coaching (ORSC), and Trompenaars Hampden-Turner: the 7 Dimensions of Culture, Dilemma Reconciliation. As an executive coach, Frederic has supported over 100 clients from over 25 nationalities in cultivating leadership excellence and resilience in high-stakes environments.  

In addition to his consulting and coaching achievements, Frederic is a passionate mentor, trainer, and advocate for professional development. He has trained and onboarded over 30 consultants, coached executives in top-tier organizations, and contributed to numerous business and social enterprise competitions.  Frederic holds a Bachelor degree from EDHEC Business School in France, with a specialisation in finance and international business management; and is trained in AGILE project management.
