Associate Partner, Climate Solutions practice
Nass Terribas
Nass serves as Dunecrest's Associate Partner leading the Climate Solutions practice. He brings over 15 years of professional experience in sustainable finance, investment facilitation, and programme evaluation across the Middle East, North Africa, and Mediterranean regions. His work sits at the intersection of green finance, private sector development, and public policy, with a strong track record in EU-funded programmes.
Prior to Dunecrest, Nass has held team leadership and senior advisory roles across a range of high-impact assignments. He currently leads the investment policy and sustainable finance component of the EU4Business Programme in Palestine, working with institutions such as the Ministry of National Economy, the Palestinian Investment Promotion Agency, and the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation to integrate green finance frameworks, Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) standards, and investment law reform. In parallel, he serves as a sustainable finance expert for GIZ's Green Forward Programme and as a team leader for the Euromed Cluster Forward initiative, supporting industrial competitiveness and private-public dialogue across Jordan, Palestine, and the broader Southern Neighbourhood.
Earlier, Nass spent six years as Programme Manager and Project Finance and Investment Expert with DAI under a World Bank-funded programme, where he directed the Investment Co-Financing Facility (ICF), a USD 20 million blended finance instrument mobilising private capital into renewable energy, agribusiness, and sustainable infrastructure in Palestine. He has also served as Investment Advisor with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), as ESG Advisor to PADICO Holding, and as Impact Investment Expert for Oxfam's IBTKAR Social Change Fund. Across these roles, he has structured bankable investment cases, led financial modelling and due diligence, and designed ESG governance frameworks aligned with IFC Performance Standards, EU Taxonomy principles, and UN Global Compact criteria.
Nass has also conducted programme evaluations for organisations including Save the Children, ACTED and UNRWA, GIZ, and the World Bank's Abraham Path Initiative, applying OECD-DAC evaluation criteria across fragile and conflict-affected contexts.
In the field of spatial intelligence and urban development, Nass led a feasibility and investment strategy for the City of Rawabi (Palestine), with the aim to understand Rawabi’s potential as a mixed-use development for housing, jobs, and economic growth.
Nass holds a Master's degree in Global Management of Business Administration from the Instituto de Estudios Bursátiles (IEB) in Madrid, and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the Universidad de Málaga. He holds additional certifications in ESG, financial modelling, renewable energy finance, and socio-economic cost-benefit analysis. He is trilingual in Spanish, English, and Arabic, and is a regular author on sustainable finance, ESG, and impact investment topics.
